Dear ULTRAMAIN Users and Guests:
The face of the airline industry has changed over the past two years, and our ULTRAMAIN 2012 Software Forum couldn't come at a better time.
Our agenda this year includes many exciting developments. The last time we held the conference, who would have thought that the Apple® iPad® would be the most talked-about technology for the cockpit? As anyone in the EFB world has probably already heard, the fourth quarter of 2011 brought authorization for use of the iPad in the cockpit for critical phase of flight. We had an inkling, which is why we started designing onboard systems apps for the iPad and iPhone® even before our last Conference in 2010. At that Conference, we showed some of our ideas for ULTRAMAIN efbTechLogs and eCabin software. Now, these apps have come to maturity, and you can see them live at our Software Forum.
But our Forum includes much more than ULTRAMAIN software. American Airlines is going to give a presentation on how his airline obtained authorization to use the iPad in the cockpit. Bud Sittig of Flight Guidance will be giving a presentation on how best to implement a successful EFB program at your airline. Plus, we have the leading EFB hardware vendors in the industry exhibiting their latest innovations.
We'll be showing ULTRAMAIN v9 integrated maintenance and logistics software during the Forum as well. Maintenance managers, schedulers, planners, and others are invited to learn more about our v9 rollout alongside our current users.
We've put a lot of work into this year's Forum and look forward to hosting you in our beautiful home city of Albuquerque. You are invited to join us Sunday, June 10 at 6pm for our welcome cocktail reception, where you can meet other Forum attendees and relax before we dive in. Guests and Users alike are invited to see our guest presentations on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday are reserved for ULTRAMAIN Users only.
