efbGroundSystem is a failsafe electronic repository for technical log data. Technical log information can originate with paper or can be electronic from inception from efbTechLogs or other less capable electronic tech log software. It is a single auditable database for all your technical log information, which integrates to your ground based Maintenance and Engineering software systems. efbGroundSystem software operates on ground servers and connects to your M&E software where data moves to the Ground System for Level 1 and from it for Levels 2 & 3. Level 2 allows entry of paper technical logs directly into the Ground System. From that point everything is paperless except for final printing of the log page for aircraft. Maintenance can close or defer defects electronically as well as open new ones, do electronic signoffs and aircraft releases. Level 3 connects to EFB onboard your aircraft providing a full paperless tech log. Each higher level includes previous levels. It supports mixed paper and electronic tech logs across fleets.
