efbTechLogs ™

efbTechLogs™ is an electronic aircraft technical log software for EFBs that fully replaces paper tech logs. efbTechLogs allows flight crews to transmit accurate data about problems real-time as they occur. It also facilitates immediate correlation of similar problems. This allows maintenance teams to investigate defects before aircraft arrival, and, to a greater degree than ever, resolve discrepancies prior to the next flight. efbTechLogs software can operate on Class 1, 2, or 3 hardware devices onboard aircraft. For Class 2 and 3 EFBs efbTechLogs can integrate with data available to the EFBs from the ARINC 429 busses. Pilots use EFB touch-screen on the glass to move about screens and enter discrepancies and other data; however they can also be operated using a keyboard or stylus. Data is sent to the Ground System via whichever off-aircraft data communication links are available (ACARS, SATLINK, Gatelink, etc.). efbTechLogs sends data to the efbTechLogs Ground System per ARINC 633 Ch 7, which receives all efbTechLogs data transmissions, and which sends data to the aircraft. The Ground System, which comes with efbTechLogs and which is used in conjunction with efbTechLogs, replaces your paper technical log records and is your “golden copy” of electronic technical log data.
