ULTRAMAIN is used to integrate with General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. ULTRAMAIN allows you to establish accounts that you can credit and debit when you commit transactions that affect your organization's general ledger. Through account controls, you determine how ULTRAMAIN builds accounts for each transaction type. When necessary, a user can select a different account for a particular transaction.ULTRAMAIN provides a three-way match for accounting purposes. The purpose of the three-way match is to compare what you ordered against what you received (in quantity and price) and to match those amounts to what the vendor bills or invoices for the purchase. ULTRAMAIN provides information on any discrepancies and will not allow you to commit an invoice until you resolve all discrepancies.The three-way match process involves matching purchasing documents, the receipt of goods or services on the purchasing documents, and vendor invoices. Invoicing enables you to create invoices in batch, enter and update invoice lines and headers, enter invoices individually or in batch, authorize invoice discrepancies, and run invoice reports. Invoicing also enables you to process invoices, and then interface the committed invoices to any accounting package for payment.
