Line Maintenance

Body:

The dynamic line maintenance environment requires the flexibility to easily and quickly review all maintenance due to identify work that can be performed within a continually shifting time frame. ULTRAMAIN meets this challenge by providing information organized by a choice of flight
schedule or by ground time. Line maintenance planners can review inbound flights and group, analyze, package, and execute maintenance activities quickly and efficiently. Potential work scope is shown by date range for a specific tail number or by an entire fleet type. Required parts, labor, and equipment and visibility of their availability are displayed to facilitate the planning and completion of maintenance tasks.

Line Maintenance is fed by log items captured in ULTRAMAIN’s user `painted’ Maintenance Log comprised of Technical Log, Cabin Log, Tally Sheet, and Flight Deck Effects (FDE)/Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) Message sections. Transit work packages can be automatically generated for flight sectors. Deferrals, open work orders/non-routines and planned maintenance requirements can be easily added as work scope into work packages. Drilldowns show details of related Tech and Cabin logs.

As log items are raised, worked or cleared, work order tasks are automatically created to capture work done. Log items can be deferred as required and tracked against Deferral Types, Deferral Categories, Deferral Number and MEL, related ATA chapter and more. Part change installs and removals can be recorded from within the Technical log and validated against configurations.
