ULTRAMAIN provides a uniform workspace design throughout the software regardless of the different areas: maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, materials, configuration management, purchasing or anything else. A key aspect of ULTRAMAIN's workspace design is navigation.

Users typically do not use just a single workspace in ULTRAMAIN. Depending on their job role (or roles) many users use multiple workspaces. Not only are the many workspaces throughout ULTRAMAIN crafted to be similar in design, but so are the navigation capabilities within and between them. Security profiles control where users can go of course, but within that wherever they go they will experience intuitive consistent navigation capabilities. This keeps the need for training down and productivity up.
