ULTRAMAIN provides materials requirements planning to sustain adequate inventory levels. Evaluates on-hand, on-order, and scheduled production quantities and a failure forecast based on quantity of equipment, equipment usage, and failure frequency to determine requirements. Inventory requirements are normally directly linked to maintenance activity and the material planning is accomplished in parallel with the planning for the floor loading. ULTRAMAIN supports kitting, tool management and repair management either internally or externally. ULTRAMAIN manages concurrently materials provided by a variety of sources and is able to manage the cost implications of customer provided spares, consignment spares etc. Support for a variety of loan and commercial support arrangements is provided and these may be discrete to customers or be part of the airline support chain activity. Traceability of repair costs is sustained through the repair and/or exchange processes.
