ULTRAMAIN Procurement allows you to create, route, and submit requisitions, solicitations, awards, and repair orders for goods and services. If your organization uses ULTRAMAIN Warranty Tracking, ULTRAMAIN can review warranty coverage or claim information for purchasing transactions. Like all ULTRAMAIN applications, ULTRAMAIN Procurement is flexible. Depending on your organization’s needs, you can use some or all of its features. You can also customize the application to meet your organization’s business practices. For example, ULTRAMAIN allows you to totally customize all award types to better match your business practices.Vendor management is supported through monitoring of lead times, vendor ratings, vendor reviews, preferred vendor management, vendor approval and vendor rejection. ULTRAMAIN allows you to establish a preferred purchase vendor and/or a preferred repair vendor for an item. ULTRAMAIN provides a comprehensive base of information about each vendor upon which a sourcing strategy is developed. Each vendor must go through a structured, multiple level, and user-specified approval process before being used, although there are one-time or limited number of buy capabilities when expeditious processing is needed.
