efbFaultFinder™

efbFaultFinder™ is an electronic fault reporting software application for the cockpit crew. efbFaultFinder software operates on EFB hardware onboard aircraft. efbFaultFinder operates on any Class 1, 2 or 3 hardware devices. For Class 2 and 3 EFBs efbFaultFinder can integrate with data available to the EFBs from the ARINC 429 busses. Pilots use EFB touch-screen on the glass to move about screens and enter discrepancies and other data; however the software can also be operated using a keyboard or stylus. efbFaultFinder allows the pilots to report faults quickly and consistently using FRMs then send those faults to our efbGroundSystem. It’s a Flight Ops side application only. Data is sent to the Ground System via whichever off-aircraft data communication links are available (ACARS, SATLINK, Gatelink, WiFi, Cellular etc.). From the Ground System you can push the fault reports to Tech Ops. Facilitating flight crews reporting of faults using consistent FRM codes is huge with respect to correlation of problems, reliability analysis and improved corrective action.
