ULTRAMAIN provides full life cycle tools to ensure that your organization buys and receives only quality products and services from properly approved vendors. Based on a wide array of user-selected criteria, vendors are routed for vetting using ULTRAMAIN’s Action Desk structure. Approval of a vendor can be restricted to a specific item or service, or can be unlimited. A vendor can be approved as the preferred vendor for an item or service. And all the approval routings can be multi-level each with different criteria.

Vendor performance is constantly monitored (e.g., turnaround times, lead times, price variances, receiving rejections) and reported based on the number of orders or repairs specified by your organization. Surveillance of vendors is accomplished through ongoing reviews at intervals specified by your quality assurance staff.

The receiving process enforces the stringent quality required for components and repairs received from authorized vendors. Online access to purchasing and inspection requirements, including scanned documentation, is available to receiving personnel and quarantine routing and processing provides segregation of items while mandatory paperwork and specifications compliance is confirmed. Once all criteria have been met, certifications (e.g., 8130.3 and EASA Form 1) are captured and associated with the component, and the component is released for immediate use (cross-docked) or stocked.
