VAA Goes Live with v9 AHRM

Things are about to get really quiet in the non-routine department at Virgin Atlantic Airways.
As of February 26, 2009, Virgin is using the new v9 Airplane Health and Reliability Management (AHRM) Point Solution in its production environments. The software helps users with analytical tools to understand how and why parts fail unexpectedly, so that unforseen maintenance can be greatly reduced.
Currently, only the Reliability and Maintenance Control departments are using the application, but additional departments will start using AHRM soon. In the coming weeks, these departments will also be using AHRM:
- Fleet Technical
- Propulsion
- Cabin Services
- Cabin Products
- Tech Services
- Materials
- Line and Base maintenance supervisors
AHRM is the first point solution delivered for ULTRAMAIN v9, with Capital Projects and Budgeting nearing delivery in April.
