ULTRAMAIN Data Interchange is the interface between your ULTRAMAIN system and the rest of your organization's systems. For example, you may use ULTRAMAIN for maintenance, inventory, billing, and purchasing. In addition, you have an external accounting system that performs bookkeeping functions, a process control computer that monitors the functioning of certain pieces of manufacturing equipment, a barcode reading system used to count inventory in your warehouses, and several other automated systems.ULTRAMAIN Data Interchange integrates the dates from multiple systems and devices into one area, which allows you to avoid the time-consuming, inefficient, and expensive task of manually transferring data between several systems. Each piece of the system relies on information from at least one other source. ULTRAMAIN may rely on the process controller to provide operational usage information so that ULTRAMAIN can schedule maintenance properly.
