Workshop Maintenance

ULTRAMAIN provides the ability to manage and record all of the repairs that take place in the workshop, along with the parts, labor and tooling needed to perform each job. Just as workshop repairs require different levels of complexity based on the type of part being repaired, ULTRAMAIN provides two basic types of workshop repair: ULTRAMAIN's Component Work Packaging allows shop managers to find outstanding maintenance tasks applicable to a component, such as overhauls and refurbishments, and plan those activities for an upcoming shop visit. For parts which do not have an associated maintenance program, a less elaborate repair process allows repair personnel to simply open a Work Order for the repair, and record the parts, labor and tooling needed to complete the job. ULTRAMAIN also supports all of your capitalization workshop activities, including modifications to parts which result in new part or serial numbers, as well as the fabrication of parts. The costs associated with such activities can be captured and directed towards the value of the part or parent assets according to your organization's accounting principles.
